My story is Young Goodman Brown. So this is what I narrowed the thumbnails down to. Eventually the others started looking repetitive or very similar so I didn't want to keep the other thumbnails. For most of it I wanted to go for a more realistic style because there would be more emphasis on the creepy aspect.
Edit: I added some more thumbnails but they're more like experimentation and stylization of the trees.
